Biography
Hello! I’m Quang and I am a science communicator and comedian passionate about spreading complex ideas in an engaging and humorous way.
In summer 2019, I graduated from the University of Exeter with a Medical Sciences Degree. During my time there, I developed an (arguably odd) enthusiasm for talking/learning all things science.
Since September ’19, I have been working as a workshop presenter at Medical Mavericks, attempting to inspire students into a career in the NHS by bringing a ‘mini-hospital’ into the classroom. Whilst there, I’ve also had the chance to work at public science events like the British Science Festival and New Scientist live.

In December last year, I started exploring the world of stand-up comedy, performing at my first open-mic night. Since then I have performed numerous gigs to all types of crowds. My latest project ‘Why am I a lightweight?’ is a pub comedy talk all about the science behind alcohol tolerance.
Outside of science and comedy, I like attempting triathlon training (attempt being the key word there) and spending time outdoors.
